SpringBoard
July 11, 2013

Is in collaboration with the Heritage Cultural Arts Festival in downtown Atlanta and the first of a two-part art series to bridge gaps in the community and help empower homeless youth through art.

Professional artists are invited to apply for SpringBoard as an opportunity to showcase their artwork and pursue a short-term (2 week) mentorship in which artists guide our young artists through their creative work processes as they prepare for their first professional art show: DualConcepts.

Artists are selected by a 5 panel jury to participate in SpringBoard and to earn a mentorship opportunity. Participants play a huge role in inspiring and guiding our young artists. We are excited about both parties coming together to share stories and break down barriers! Artwork stays up in the gallery throughout the Heritage Cultural Arts Festival (July 18-21).

At the show, young artists will showcase and sell their artwork. All canvases will be sold in giclee form at a standard price. DualConcepts artists receive 80% of their sales revenue*. ChopArt has designed a whole team of people to stand behind the young artists ensuring that they will be prepared and confident for their big show!
